Team Genesee was able to be part of the first Glow With Your Hands Event, a hands-on career fair, dedicated to showing kids jobs in the trades.
We love to being able to introduce kids to other career options available to them, right in their counties.
Genesee Construction is honored & excited to help support the 1st annual GLOW with Your Hands event.
“GLOW with Your Hands is an exciting NEW opportunity for GLOW region students that is inspired by Finger Lakes Works…with their hands and Finger Lakes Works Agricultural Day events.
GLOW region businesses, trade unions, contractors, colleges, and organizations will provide hands-on demonstrations and activities for students while reinforcing and maintaining industry safety standards.
In addition to careers in Agriculture and Skilled Trades, participants will learn about Advanced Manufacturing and Alternative Energy.
GLOW with Your Hands provides an engaging, hands-on, applied experience for students and educators to increase student awareness and interest in local, high-growth and high-demand industries. This inaugural event will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the Genesee County Fairgrounds in Batavia.”

The Thomas G. Welch Memorial Golf Tournament is held each year to support the Tom Welch Scholarship at Dansville Central High School. After Tom passed away in 2014, his friends and family chose to honor his memory by establishing a scholarship fund to support local college students studying IT and engineering.
We are thankful to be able to support this event.
21st Annual Taste of Livingston. Supporting The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming and the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce - two of the area’s top advocacy organizations. The Chamber is Livingston County’s leader in promoting visibility, positive perception, and growth for area businesses. The Arc is the area’s largest not-for-profit supporting individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
